AHIMSA YOUTH ORGANIZATION

Ahimsa Youth Organization (AYO) is a non-profit 501(c)(3), charitable and educational organization dedicated to educating and promoting the culture of South Asia to the general public, specifically non-South Asians, and assisting the less fortunate through community service.


	Logo
	The AYO logo is a white dove. The dove represents peace and is the ideal symbol for non-violence (Ahimsa). The dove is also holding an olive branch in its beak, another symbol of peace. However, the AYO dove represents more than just peace and non-violence. The dove in its position of flight represents progress and hope - the progress and hope of peace that the people of South Asia can attain by working together and learning from each other.
